Corporate Services
Whatever business you are in, your employees are your lifeblood. You want your employees to be on top form to work their best for you at all times. An employee going through bereavement (of any kind) or divorce will inevitably lose productivity, especially if in a managerial role, and may pull down an entire team’s performance. And it is still worse if your employee is being abused. Bereavement, Abuse and Divorce (“BAD”) disasters are the the next worst life experience after the death of a loved one.
All this is unavoidable, but you can shorten the time of reduced productivity. Coaching gets people back on track quicker. You can’t do anything about the BAD itself, what you can do is limit the down-period and potentially even have a more effective employee than before. They will understand themselves better, what they have been through and most importantly be clear and enthusiastic about their future. So, as well as offering individual coaching, I have a corporate offering of “stand-by” coaching for businesses who see this as a benefit for the business when an employee is undergoing BAD.
There is a CSR benefit. Businesses that see their staff as stakeholders already regard helping employees in times of trouble as part of their corporate social responsibility strategy as well as part of the reward package. Many businesses now have provision for employees experiencing depression, mental health issues and difficulties caused by the menopause. There is however, still very little corporate help available for BAD issues. I fill this gap. If you are one of the C-suite or HR is your responsibility, I’d be delighted to talk through my coaching services with you.
